We have a new male betta fish named Elton John, nicknamed "Eee". Betta replaces our previous betta, Laddie "Dee", who replaced a female betta named "Cee". "Cee" was a replacement for "Bee", short for Fishy Wishy Three Electric Beegalee. "Bee" replaced Fishy Wishy Two Electric Boogaloo ("Boo"), who succeeded Fishy Wishy. Betta fish typically live for about two years.
